Sarah Gillett Home for Aged People

The first home was located on Silver street, in the house formerly owned by Mr. V. W. Crowson, now owned by selectman Mr. Louis L. Keefe.

The Home was moved to its present location of Broad street, twelve years ago this fall. This residence was originally owned by Mr. D. L. Gillett and given by his son, Ralph D. Gillett.

Mrs. L. H. Beals is the present matron. There are now thirteen residents in the Home, all of whom are ladies. The present board of officers is as follows:

Henry W. Ely, President; L. H. Beals and R. C. Parker, Vice-Presidents; Charles G. Smith, Treasurer; Mrs. Joseph A. Kenyon, Secretary.
